Cops accused of fraudulent warrant

CHICAGO — A federal judge in Illinois allowed an arrestee to continue bringing his due process and false arrest claims against Chicago and two police officers who procured a warrant by misrepresenting the case to a judge, for example, by possibly bringing a “dummy informant” appeared before the judge in place of the true, arrested one, to parrot the warrant’s story without personal knowledge of the matter.
