Conviction Bars Nigerian’s Bid For Removal Relief

CHICAGO (CN) - The 7th Circuit ruled that an aggravated felony conviction bars it from stopping the deportation of Prince Henry Eke, who argued that he could be killed for his homosexuality if sent back to his native Nigeria. Eke did not apply for asylum until after he was convicted of identity theft. See ruling.
