CHICAGO — The Illinois attorney general claims Liberty Power Holdings defrauded consumers of $77 million on electric bills, using “despicable” tactics, including “steal(ing) consumers’ personal information, forg(ing) their signatures, and switch(ing) their service without their consent,” in Cook County Chancery Court.
