Consumer Class Action

Shop-Vac Corp. falsely advertises its vacuum cleaners as "Made in the USA," a class-action complaint claims in San Diego Superior Court.

Farmers Insurance Co. of Washington breaches homeowners' contracts by "demand(ing) subrogation when it has paid benefits to an insured without having first requested an assignment of rights by the insured prior to any recovery by the insured," a class-action complaint claims in King County Court, Seattle.

First City Credit Union is accused of misrepresentations in repossessing autos, in a class-action complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court. A class action in the same court accuses Repossess Auto Sales of similar violations.

A class-action complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court accuses Health Net of California of improperly refusing to cover reconstructive surgery for excessive skin after weight loss.

These defendants are accused of charging illegal fees: Conklin Fangman Kansas City LLC, Molle Automotive Group (including Molle Chevrolet and Toyota), and State Line Nissan, in separate class-action complaints in Jackson County Court, Kansas City, Mo.
