Sports Chalet invades customers' privacy with an illegal "information capture policy" that collects phone and credit-card numbers at point of sale, and uses them to get other personal information, including home addresses, a class action claims in San Diego Superior Court. A similar complaint has been filed in the same court against The Sports Authority.

Pricegrabber.com, Dbuys.com, and Pioneer Electronics fail to inform customers that warranties on HDTVs do not apply because the defendants are not authorized resellers, according to a class action in Los Angeles Superior Court.
