Conagra’s Banquet Pot Pies Have Salmonella, Class-Action Claims

KANSAS CITY, MO. (CN) - Conagra Foods sold beef, chicken and turkey pot pies contaminated with salmonella, a class-action complaint claims in Federal Court.

The allegedly contaminated Banquet brand pot pies "have an establishment number 'P-9' or 'Est. 1059' printed on the side of the package," the complaint states. Named plaintiffs say they bought and ate the pies as recently as last week in Maine, Kansas, Tennessee, and California. They seek compensatory and statutory damages, costs and fees. They are represented by R. Frederick Walters. See complaint.
