SAN FRANCISCO — The Ninth Circuit certified a question Thursday to the California Supreme Court about whether insurance companies are exempt from disclosure requirements on compound interest, in Sanford J. Wishnev et al. v. the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co.
