Competitors Say Tyson Lies In Chicken Ads

BALTIMORE (CN) - Tyson Foods falsely advertises that its chickens are "raised without antibiotics," three competitors and claim in Federal Court. Saunderson, Perdue and Foster Farms claim Tyson's ads are "literally false," because Tyson uses "antibiotics called ionophores" on its chickens, and that this "false claim" improperly suggests that Tyson's chickens are safer than its competitors'.
