Company Sues To Protect Spiderman

LOS ANGELES - Transworld Films illegally licensed 1960s era Spiderman cartoons to TV stations all over the globe, BVS Entertainment claims in Federal Court.

And, BVS says, two days after Transworld promised to stop, it did it again. BVS says Transworld admitting during litigation that BVS owns rights to the cartoons, and promised in February to stop violating copyright. But two days after signing the settlement agreement, Transworld offered 10 Spiderman episodes to Canadian TV conglomerate Corus Entertainment says BVS, which demands an injunction and damages.
