Ronald Weeber and ABC Finance Corp., of La Mesa, defrauded investors by promising they could double their money by buying and financing computers for resale to military personnel, then closing up shop without repaying the money, three investors claim in San Diego Superior Court, El Cajon.

A family claims their youngest child was hospitalized with mercury poisoning after the defendants sold them a home filled with Katrina debris and failed to tell them that the silvery film covering the entire interior was mercury. Defendants in St. Bernard Parish Court, Chalmette, are Edward Boesch III, A Home Check, Price Kennedy, and Superior Plumbing & Heating Co.
