The State of Illinois is the latest to accuse Caremark Rx of defrauding customers and insurers by swapping out drug prescriptions to enrich itself by kickbacks from drug companies, in Cook County Court.

Otis Elevator claims Emerson Electric Co. dba U.S. Electrical Motors, and Champlain Cable Corp. sold it defective heat-resistant cable in thousands of motors, in a $13 million claim in Chicago Federal Court.

Tech Know Systems sued Newbold Corp. in San Francisco Federal Court, demanding to be paid 7% royalties under a technology licensing agreement. Tech Know says a typo in the contract reduced the rate to .7%.

Forty-five people claim Blackhawk Rio Vista, Shea Homes and their affiliates sold them defective homes in the Trilogy and Marks Ranch developments in Rio Vista, in Solana County Court, Calif.
