Theometrics demands $86 million, claiming Carlson Software breached contract, defrauded it and misappropriated trade secrets, in Manhattan Federal Court.

Despite agreeing to stop cheating consumers, William John Layne, of Neptune Beach, Fla., kept taking their money for leather furniture and didn't deliver it, the State of Florida claims in Duval County Court. It also sues Layne's businesses, Leather Deport, Leather Pointe and Coastal Leather.
