Gerber Childrenswear and others sold baby bibs containing toxic di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP), without warning consumers, the State of California claims in Alameda County Court, Oakland.

Here are the defendants in the baby bib case: Gerber Childrenswear, Gerber Products Co., Baracah Apparel Group, Bentex Group, Children's Apparel Network, Crocodile Creek Kids, Cutie Pie Baby, Dex Products, Kole Imports, Luv N' Care Ltd., Smith News Co., and Smith Novelty Co.

Thirty-two people say they bought defective homes from The Forecast Group in its Paradise Valley North Unit 4 subdivision, in Solano County Court, Calif.

Bob Koppel, Koppel Financial Planning, and Pro Financial Group are accused of selling unregistered, unlicensed viatical insurance policies under misrepresentations, in Placer County Court, Calif.

Plan-It Interactive, which provides interactive casino and video games for parties, claims its former employee Alfredo Jaro misappropriated trade secrets to start a competing company, Casino Concepts, in Contra Costa County Court, Calif.
