Comcast Accused Of Deceiving Customers

WASHINGTON (CN) - A class-actionaccuses Comcast of the District, the Capitol area's largest Internet services provider, of falsely advertising that it "does not block access to any Web sites or online applications, including peer-to-peer services." The adis "patently false," says the complaint.

Comcast"intentionally blocks its customers from using peer-to-peer file-sharing applications ... and does so in a shockingly deceptive manner - by impersonating the computers of users attempting to share files," according to the Superior Court complaint.
