MINNEAPOLIS – A federal court in Minnesota denied universities’ request to reduce the terms of an injunction that requires St. Cloud State University to take immediate steps to ensure women students are provided with equitable opportunity to participate in athletics.

The university argued that it would have cut men’s sports teams in order to cease discriminating against women.
