Douglas Brenner sued the NCAA, the University of Oregon and its head football coach Willie Taggart for $12 million in Multnomah County Court, claiming Taggart’s punishing workout regime left him hospitalized with exertional rhabdomyolsis and permanent kidney damage that will shorten his life by 10 years.
