MANHATTAN — A federal judge in New York dismissed Michael Cohen’s lawsuit against former President Donald Trump, who allegedly put his former attorney back in jail to keep Cohen from promoting his tell-all book about Trump’s use of government resources to retaliate against his political enemies. The court notes that though its decision is bound by Supreme Court precedent, the ruling is a “profound violence” against Cohen’s constitutional rights.
