LOS ANGELES (CN) - A class-action complaint accuses Coca-Cola of selling "Fuze" drinks and lip gloss with false claims that the drinks, and even the lip gloss, "helps consumers 'slenderize' ... helps consumers 'energize' ...increases metabolism ... causes weight loss in the hips ... and has caused 'Hollywood stars' to lose weight."
Also sued in Superior are Fuze Beverage, Too Faced Cosmetics, and Sephora USA.
