Co-Producer Accuses Jon Peters Of Foul Deeds

LOS ANGELES (CN) - Movie director Jon Peters' co-producer on "Superman," Brian Quintana, accuses Peters of a litany of foul deeds. Quintana claims that Peters owes him hundreds of thousands of dollars in salary and bonuses, and that Peters demanded that Quintana commit perjury, forge signatures, and "cover up accusations of sexual molestation of minor males by defendants, including a request by Peters to have one such minor male murdered."

The Superior Court complaint also claims that Peters asked Quintana to help "cover up the statutory rape of Peters' daughter, including the destruction of evidence of this rape," and "try to bribe witnesses in lawsuits against defendants." The defendants are Jon Peters, BP 10 Trust, J.P. Organization Inc., Peters 1990 Trust, and Peters Entertainment Inc.

Quintana claims, inter alia, that Peters owes him $50,000 in salary, $20,500 for helping Peters sell his home, $60 in expenses, $150,000 for helping to produce "Superman: Man of Steel," $150,000 for co-producing a new film, "Africa," and other commissions. He claims Peters promised him $100,000 if Quintana could get Peters a star on the Hollywood "Walk of Fame." Quintana says he got Peters the star and Peters never paid him.

Quintana's 21-page complete is replete with sexual allegations, many of them alleging homosexuality, including being subjected to forced homosexual groping.

"In a final illegal act," the complaint states, "Defendants demanded that plaintiff perjure himself by signing community service slips for Homeboy Industries, for community service that defendant Peters did not complete. When plaintiff refused to commit this illegal act, defendant Peters threatened to break his legs. Plaintiff refused to sign the slips, and was terminated by defendants. Further, plaintiff has filed a police report for the threats to his person."

Quintana demands damages for employment law violations, sexual harassment, defamation, and wrongful firing. He is represented by Douglas Silverstein with Kesluk & Silverstein.
