Climate-neutral snacks

CHICAGO — A federal court in Illinois dismissed a consumer’s proposed class action against the maker of Zbar energy snack bars, which are labeled as “climate neutral certified.” The consumer says this is a deceptive label, but a third party did in fact give the manufacturer this certification, so it is truthful to label the product as having been certified as climate-neutral.
