WASHINGTON (CN) - Larry Klayman, the ousted chairman of Judicial Watch, has filed a complaint on behalf of evangelical Christian clergyman and international peace crusader Dr. K.A. Paul, accusing U.S. and Indian officials of violating Paul's civil rights and conspiring to destroy his nonprofit organization, Global Peace Initiative.
Paul, an Indian-born resident of Texas, claims the defendants illegally eavesdropped on his conversations, hacked into his computers, falsely accused him of crimes he did not commit and wrongfully placed the Global Peace Initiative on a watch list.
Defendants in the federal complaint include President Bush, Condoleezza Rice, and a slew of U.S. and Indian agencies and officials.
