LAS VEGAS (CN) – Two Chevrolet dealers face class actions accusing them of false advertising on the radio. Bill Heard Chevrolet allegedly offered to sell cars with no credit check, with a deceitful disclaimer that said buyers needed 40 percent down and lender approval – but lender approval is not possible without a credit check.
Represented by George West III in Clark County Court, the class seeks an injunction and costs.
Another class action in the same court accuses Fairway Chevrolet of false advertising in an ad that allegedly stated, “With just a job and your driver’s license, you will be approved – guaranteed.” That turned out not to be the case, claims named plaintiff Allen Kelley, who also is the named plaintiff in the first case. This class also is represented by George West III.
