Class Says Cabela’s Sells ‘Scent Lok’|Hunting Clothes Through False Claims

MILWAUKEE (CN) - Cabela's, the sporting goods catalog merchant, defrauds customers by claiming "Scent Lok" deer hunting clothing has "odor eliminating technology" that hides human scent, a class action claims in Federal Court. Plaintiffs say lead defendant ALS Enterprises has been lying about its "technology" since 1992, claiming that the "activated carbon" can be "reactivated" in a clothes dryer.

Plaintiffs also sued Gander Mountain Co. Their lead counsel is Joseph Veenstra with Johns Flaherty & Collins of La Crosse, Wisc.
