LOS ANGELES (CN) - The State Compensation Insurance Fund refuses to pay interest on attorney fees for worker's compensation awards and orders, two attorneys say in a class action in Superior Court.
The defendant is a state agency. Named plaintiffs Kenton Koszdin and Gilbert Lipman practice in Los Angeles and Riverside Counties, respectively. Plaintiffs demand accounting, a constructive trust, restitution, and an injunction. Their lead counsel is Pejman Ben-Cohen with Novak & Ben-Cohen of Beverly Hills.
