MADISON, WIS. (CN) - Saturn L-200 Series cars accelerate uncontrollably on their own and cannot be stopped by pressing the brake pedal, a class action claims in Dane County Court.
The named plaintiff claims that after her car accelerated uncontrollably, she had to weave through traffic at more than 80 mph for more than 15 minutes until a 911 operator told her to turn off the key.
She claims the National Transportation Highway Safety Administration has received numerous complaints of this defect, some of which are cited in this complaint.
