Class Claims Budget Rent A Car|Overcharges For Damages To Rentals

PHILADELPHIA (CN) - Budget Rent A Car cheats customers who decline purchase of a Loss Damage Waiver by grossly overcharging them for damages to rental cars, a class action claims in Federal Court. The named plaintiff, who hit a deer, says Budget assessed the damage to the car at $5,481, but charged him and his insurance company $12,920 for it.

Peter Benson also sued JNR Adjustment Co. He is represented by Ann Miller.
