Class Certification OK’d Against Monster

MANHATTAN (CN) - A federal judge has granted class certification in two pension funds' securities complaint against Monster Worldwide and its former CEO Andrew McKelvey and senior vice president and general counsel Myron Olesnyckyj.

U.S. District Judge Jed Rakoff granted the request from the Middlesex County Retirement System and the Steamship Trade Association-International Longshoremen's Associate Pension Fund, but did not appoint the Steamship Trade Association a class representative.
