Class Actions Decry Cell Phone Abuses

CHICAGO (CN) - AT&T, M-Qube and M-Qube subsidiary Verisign charge cell phone customers for services they never ordered, according to a class-action complaint in Cook County Court, which claims the practice of secretly aggregating bills for unrequested services is widespread in the cell phone industry. A similar complaint in the same court charges Verizon and MBLOX with doing it. See complaint.
