Class Accuses Skyy of Over-Patriotic Labeling

SAN DIEGO (CN) – Skyy Spirits inaccurately labels its Skyy vodka as a “Product of the U.S.A.,” when the distinctive cobalt-blue bottles are made in factories in Mexico, a class action claims in Federal Court. Consumers say the false and misleading label violates laws meant to protect consumers “from being misled when they purchase products in the belief that they are advancing the interests of the United States and its industries and workers.”     They are represented by Neil Fineman of Fineman & Associates.
