The Fraternal Order of Police, DC Lodge 1, which represents officers in the Pentagon Force Protection Agency, claims Defense Secretary Robert Gates' PFPA Form 83 unconstitutionally restricts the speech of members who are suspected of wrongdoing, in DC Federal Court.

The City of Deer Park and its police Officer Trentman arrested Frederick Smith outside a courtroom, on a year-old dismissed complaint, to prevent him from testifyingon behalf of a man who was involved in that same, year-old incident, Smith claims in Hamilton County Court.
