Ten citizens sued New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine, claiming they were illegally arrested for peacefully protesting outside Middle Township High School while Corzine discussed his plan to increase highway tolls by 800% to pay off "unapproved debt," in Trenton Federal Court.

On behalf of their children, parents sued Natalia Independent School District and its Superintendent Joey Mocyzgemba on civil rights charges, claiming students were denied the right to vote for their commencement speaker so the defendants could invite the wife of the school board president to make the speech, in San Antonio Federal Court.
