City Seeks to Shut Down Alleged Drug House

MADISON, Wis. (CN) - The city of Madison wants to shut down an apartment building that allegedly operates as a drug house. The apartment complex has been the site of drug deals, loitering and "a disproportionate number of calls for police services," Madison claims in Dane County Court.

The lawsuit seeks a permanent injunction against owners Roger and Suzanne Carlson and Monona State Bank, claiming they need to boot the tenants and sell the building.
