City Says Church Did The Wrong Thing

RICHMOND, CALIF. (CN) - After the City of Richmond loaned the Church of Deliverance $190,000 to buy and improve property for transitional living quarters and training programs for poor women, the church evicted the women and its pastor Frederick Hamilton moved in and is using the place as his home, the City claims in Contra Costa County Court. It wants the property back, plus $220,000. See complaint.
