Chinese Drywall Class Actions Continue

NEW ORLEANS (CN) - Three more class actions claim people were injured by defective Chinese drywall that emits sulphur, methane and other noxious gases that cause respiratory problems.

Defendants in New Orleans Federal Court are Knauf Gips KG; Knauf Plasterboard Tianjin Co. Ltd.; Taishan Gypsum Co. Ltd. fka Shandong Taihe Dongxin Co. Ltd.; USG Corporation; L&W Supply Corporation dba Seacoast Supply; Interior Exterior Building Supply; Independent Builders Supply Association Inc.; and Rothchilt International Limited.

The plaintiffs in two New Orleans class actions are represented by Daniel Becnel Jr. of Reserve, La. A similar complaint in Miami Federal was filed by Robert Josefsberg with Podhurst Orseck.
