China’s Birth-Control Policy Victim Wins Appeal

RICHMOND, Va. (CN) - The 4th Circuit ruled that Chinese immigrant Li Fang Lin has a well-founded fear of forced sterilization if removed to China, because officials in her native country forcibly implanted a contraceptive device in Lin after the birth of her first child.
