Child sex doll conviction reversed

WASHINGTON — The Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces reversed a discharged airman’s conviction of indecent conduct for engaging in sexual acts with a childlike sex doll. The conviction was improper because the government needed to prove there was an aggravating circumstance to be able to convict the defendant for a private consensual sex act, but it failed to do so. The Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals “was not convinced that Appellee, when he was engaged in the charged conduct, was either pretending he was having sexual intercourse with a child or simulating sexual acts with a minor.”
