Child Abuse Alleged in ‘Prayer Room’

ATLANTA (CN) - The CEO of the Kiddie Kottage Academy beat a 4-year-old boy with a belt, several times a day for months, in a dark room called "the prayer room," the father claims in Fulton County Superior Court. He claims Sandra Ward inflicted these and other abuses on his son at her business in College Park, Ga.

The father claims that the Kiddie Kottage Academy' was sold to co-defendant Little Scholars Academy of Atlanta, "in a fraudulent attempt to avoid liability." Also named as defendants are Bright From The Start, and Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning.

The father and son are represented by John Moore.
