Chicago Cops Accused Of Discrimination

CHICAGO (CN) – The City of Chicago discriminated against the president of the Chicago Police Women’s Organization to retaliate for her public statements “about the need to promote diversity and racial equality within the Department,” Linda Brumfield claims in Federal Court. Brumfield, who is black and homosexual, claims her bosses forced her to undergo four needless psychological evaluations, denied her due process, punished her excessively, and suspended her unfairly for 180 days, irreparably harming her.
