Chatty Drivers Sue Chicago In Class Action

CHICAGO (CN) - The City of Chicago has issued more than 25,000 citations for using cell phones while driving, imposing $2 million in fines, and did it without adequately informing drivers of the new law, a class-action complaint claims in Federal Court. Plaintiffs also sue Mayor Richie Daley and police Officer Ramon Solidum, who has issued 750 of the tickets - nearly 3 percent of the total. See complaint.
