The Supreme Court of Colorado ruled that a warrant permitting the search of a woman’s cell phone was constitutionally overbroad, given modern phones’ storage capacities and ability and hold the “privacies of life.” The woman, a university professor, was charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy.
