Cell-Phone Billers Face Class Action

LOS ANGELES (CN) -Mobile Messenger Americas and MBlox defraud cell phone users by billing them for products and services they don't want and didn't order - and all they need to run the scam is "the consumer's cellular telephone number," a class-action complaint claims in Superior Court. As in many recent class-action claims against cell phone bill aggregators, the defendants are accused of billing for "premium" text messages and message services that the plaintiffs don't want and didn't ask for.
