ATLANTA (CN) - Latosha Lee claims celebrity gossip blog Young Black and Fabulous defamed her by calling her "Shaq's stripper mistress." Lee, a college graduate who describes herself as an actress and waitress, says she has never worked as a stripper.
Lee has a bachelor's degree from Bethune-Cookman University in Florida, and has worked in three independent films, as a waitress and club manager, but never as a stripper, she says in Fulton County Superior Court.
Lee claims defendant Natasha Eubanks, who owns the offending Web site, "published the defamatory statements with reckless disregard for the truth."
Lee also claims that Eubanks illegally got copies of personal e-mail messages and photographs from an unknown source and published them without permission.
Lee seeks punitive damages for defamation and privacy invasion.
