Casino Says NFL Star Owes it $20,000

LAS VEGAS (CN) - The Mirage Casino claims Denver Broncos running back LaMont Jordan owes it $20,000 in gambling debts.

Jordan got six gambling markers from the casino on two days in June 2008, but the checklike markers were returned due to insufficient funds, The Mirage claims in Clark County Court.

Jordan joined the Broncos in March. He also has played for the New England Patriots and the Oakland Raiders.

The casino is represented by Mark Russell.
