LAS VEGAS (CN) - The Four Queens casino owes $42,000 in rent, the landowner claims in Clark County Court.
The Rockwell Family Limited Partnership claims the casino failed to pay the entire $28,000 monthly rent for both April and May, but only paid $7,000 each month. The partnership says it's still owed $21,000 for each month, totaling $42,000.
In February, the casino asked plaintiffs to reduce its rent "for an indeterminate amount for an indeterminate period of time," but no formal agreement was reached, the lawsuit claims.
The Rockwell Family Limited Partnership owns 75 percent of the land on Fremont Street where the casino was built in 1966. Plaintiff is represented by John Peter Lee.
