President Donald Trump declassified details about the October 2016 order by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to surveil Carter Page so that he could publicize the memo from the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. On Wednesday, The New York Times and reporter Charlie Savage claimed in a federal complaint that the Justice Department has taken too long to respond to its request for related records.
