Carpal Tunnel Exams Spur Class Action

MEMPHIS (CN) - In a federal class action whose claims are becomingly increasingly common, Kilgore Co. is accused of violating the Americans with Disabilities Act by giving nerve-conduction exams to job applicants, and refusing to hire people it believes susceptible to carpal tunnel syndrome. The lead plaintiff claims Kilgore offered her a job and rescinded it after the exam.
