(CN) - St. Louis Cardinals Manager Tony La Russa says Twitter abused his name. La Russa claims that Twitter has a name page for Tony La Russa without his permission, with his picture and fake updates purportedly from him.
He says some of the updates were vulgar and made off-color statements about Darryl Kile and Josh Hancock, two Cardinals who died during La Russa's tenure.
La Russa seeks damages and wants the page shut down. He is represented in San Francisco Superior Court by Gregory McCoy of Danville, Calif.
