Captain Crozier

Task & Purpose, a military- and veteran-focused digital media company, sued the Department of Defense for emails to and from Capt. Brett Crozier, whose request for help in a Covid-19 epidemic on the USS Roosevelt aircraft carrier led to his removal, then the resignation of the acting secretary of the Navy who removed him.

WASHINGTON — Task & Purpose, a military- and veteran-focused digital media company, brought a federal complaint to have the Department of Defense produce emails to and from Capt. Brett Crozier, whose request for help in a Covid-19 epidemic on the USS Roosevelt aircraft carrier led to his removal, then the resignation of the acting secretary of the Navy who removed him.
