Candidate shooting

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A federal court in Kentucky ruled an apparently mentally ill man who attempted to shoot a Louisville mayoral candidate will remain detained pending trial, finding that “no set of conditions could reasonably ensure he wouldn't again leave the state or threaten the safety of the candidate or others in the community.”
