Can hazing be accidental or negligent?

BATON ROUGE, La. — A federal court in Louisiana denied summary judgment to a Canadian insurer on its argument that its policy for a Canadian college student excludes liability for the hazing death of a fellow Louisiana State University student. The insurer said that it is impossible to accidentally or negligently haze someone, but offered no legal authority or case law to support the claim.
